I like to create patterns on fabrics enriched with lots of beautiful colours. I like the way designs can be layered and interact with each other. I like to bring a sense of subtleness and geometric shape to my fabric designs. I get a lot of my inspiration from natural objects. I take pleasure in looking at the way natural objects are formed and how the structure changes. I find these shapes and textures really interesting to recreate in my own way. I enjoy producing movement in my designs and changing the way objects appear. When my work is going well I am filled with a sense of achievement. As my designs develop the design structure finally comes together to produce my final designs.
