I am interested in illustration, and print. Colour is a big part of my work, and I have been greatly inspired by interior design products. My work is based on shadows, and what unusual shapes they form. I am interested in how they are caste, and how they change. I like drawing; therefore I have tried to translate the drawn quality from my sketchbook work into my finished pieces. Layering is also an important part of my work, shown in my mixed pieces, with pieces cut away and added. I also like the idea of delicate, precious pieces, which are fragile and beautiful. I have chosen to develop my pieces into jewellery, as metal in a medium that I am unfamiliar with, therefore I am constantly learning about this material.
